Front Brake
|
| |
| Most of your bikes stopping power come from the front brake.
If you want cool go 2 piston but for safety go with a 4, or
even a 6, piston caliper. |
| |
| On a springer the calipers do not bolt directly onto the fork.
A mounting kit consisting of a bracket and a brake anchor (heim
joint) to tie the bracket to the rear fork is used. |

Front Fender
|
There are two ways to mount a front fender:
|
1. hard mount
it to the front fork
The disadvantage of this approach is that the fender has
to be at least 1.5 inches above the front tire.

|
|
2. use a "floating"
system
This system is similar to that used to mount the caliper.
On the brake side they should double as a caliper mounting
bracket.
