Construction
Some springer fork tubes are made using regular steel (usually referred to as DOM). Chromolly (4130 alloy) is the tubing used for building aircraft and dragsters.
I use a minimum wall thickness of 0.120 inches for the legs.
Chromolly tubing has a higher strength to weight ratio than regular steel so I don't need to save weight by hollowing out the triple trees. Solid triple trees = greater strength
Legs and Triple Trees are Tig Welded
Oilite bushings are used in the rockers and the triple tree for lubrication and easy replacement
Axles,  Spring rods,  Nuts,  Washers and  Rocker Boltsare made from Stainless steel
