Construction

| Some springer fork tubes are made using
regular steel (usually referred to as DOM). Chromolly (4130
alloy) is the tubing used for building aircraft and dragsters. |

I use a minimum wall thickness of 0.120 inches for the legs. |

Chromolly tubing has a higher strength to weight ratio than
regular steel so I don't need to save weight by hollowing out
the triple trees. Solid triple trees = greater strength |

Legs and Triple Trees are Tig Welded |

Oilite bushings are used in the rockers and the triple tree
for lubrication and easy replacement |
